The birds and squirrels love thier oranges. I put this out after getting home from work yesterday. I took the second photo tonight when I got home. Gone in 24 hours! Nothing like Florida oranges!

Thanks for stopping by,

This looks familiar to me. You should see what they do to apples. :)

Are you sure it was birds? I would love to see a video of the party.

A video of the party sounds like a good idea. They really did a thorough job--but like you said, nothing like fresh Florida oranges. I wouldn't mind having some of those. It looked like it was a delicious buffet. Lucky birds!

OH my goodness! I can tell oranges in FL are cheap! That is a riot - actually unbelievable!

Yum, Craig.... I want some Florida oranges.... We used to order from down there (Hale's) --but quit a few years ago. We like Navels when they are in season.

Glad you are feeding your critters though. They love it too...

Jeese, not a morsal of fruit left! How did you train them to be so neat and tidy!! Looks like you have a rep to live up to now...they will be lining up on your fence waiting for all that Vit C!!

Looks to me like you have had lots of success with something eating the oranges.

We've finished up all of our tangelos...but I wont be so stingy with the next crop and will share a few with the birds.

I'm a bird watcher as well and have never put out oranges. This I will do today. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's amazing how fast it gets gone. I try to mix up my treats for our lil critters.. nuts, seeds and different fruit .. Yesterday we put out a bag of cranraisins, they seem to be loving this new treat.
Thanks for sharing.
Have a great week.

Hi Craig...

Just coming over from Susan's! Wow...can't say as I blame those birds...I love oranges! Hehe! I have to admit that I really don't know much about birds...so I'm curious what kind of birds feed on the oranges? So interesting!!! Thanks for sharing!

Warmest wishes,
