Mystery Critter Wednesday Round 6

Happy 100th post to ME!

That's right, it's my 100th post. You will have to forgive the quality of the photo. I took a real chance with this photo and put my life in serious danger and risk to my personal well being. All for the benefit of my dear readers. There have been several reports of this creature in our neighborhood but this is the only known conformation. Reporters and various news crews have been camped out for weeks trying to capture this strange critter. I have done it! I have captured the critter on camera. A lot of money is being turned down on these exclusive photo's, as I have opted to reveal them here on my humble blog. I have forwarned Blogger of the great increase I expect to come from this revealing on this blog.

So Take your best shot and try to guess what the special edition Mystery Critter Wednesday 100th episode post can be. I know you will be shocked and amazed at the great reveal on Thursday.

Thanks for your support and reading my blog and I hope the next 100 post will be as much fun for you and they are for me!

Thanks for stopping by,

Craig Glenn

How ARE you managing with all this publicity Craig? You poor man, you must feel overwhelmed!! LOL!!

First I thought it was the dogs tail, but then I decided it was too straight at the bottom. Next I though it might be a lion on the loose, but discarded it for the same reason. Then I thought it was human hair but it looks too smooth and not braided, so out the window that idea went too. So my final guess is a tassel of a pillow. Phew!! Now my brain is fried with all this heavy decision making!! I am going to have to go home to recuperate!! :)

HAPPY 100TH, Craig!!
I know...it's a live, mechanical broom!!

Congrats on post 100!
I think it's a clipped dog tail of some poofy breed.

hmm, I like Joan's initial thoughts. But like her I have to dismiss them. Not because it is too straight, but who would do such a thing to a dog.

Now I know you have been remodeling the house lately and doing a lot of painting. I was watching the home shopping network the other night and saw a painting method using something like a feather duster.

I am thinking this is some type of paint brush. You dip it in the paint and just kinda sling it on the wall.

Thanks Joan! Boy you do have a lot of thoughts! I just knew you would be the trouble guesser for me this week, being from south africa and all. I was certain you would get it right away and have to admit that one of your answers is very very close.

Thanks B! It's great to have you and what a wonderful guess you have made. You have no idea just how close you really are!

Thanks to you too Lynne: You are on the right track with poofy! No, not really! LOL There is no TAILing what this might be!

Scooter...

What have I told you about Mystery Wednesday, you come to my house all the time, you're my brother, you have an open application with the Institue of Better Science, so it's just now fair when you guess! My other readers will think you have an unfair advantate!

For those of you that don't know the Institute of Better Science, or BS for short, was founded by Tom the fishing guy and myself as a think tank for the study of global nature. donations can be made on our website, DoweyCheatem&Howe.com.

~sigh~

thanks for spoiling it for everyone Scooter! LOL

ME trouble.....NEVER!! :) We are the kindest, sweetest people here in SA .... well okay, there MIGHT be an exception or two here and there. :)

I like Scooters idea too ...... hmmmmm!! Nope I am sticking to my pillow story and thats that.

Hey Scot, do you stay close enough that you can go over and have a quick look and send me the answer in and e-mail? I would love to be right for once. LOL!! LOL!!

I would go check, but he is at work and that darn lion he has in the back yard scares me...

Richard,

Thanks for stopping by and venturing a guess. There is a funny story but I can't share it yet! It will spoil the game.

SAPhotographs (Joan) said...

LOL!! I dont blame you Scooter, it would scare me too but knowing Craig, it is only a toy one and even THAT probably scares him. LOL!!

Craig Glenn said...

WOW, Do I sence a little hostility? You would think a South African Safari Guide would know a lions tail when she sees one! LOL

It's not like I tried to trick her by putting feathers on a dinosaur or nothing! LOL

Craig: Congrats on the 100th post, as a memeber of the Better Science team (BS team for short), I must admit I don't know how you got a photo of the tail of a Yeti in Florida. You are without a doubt on expert person behind the camera to make this capture. You are certainly reaching surperior heights as compared to you know who.

SAPhotographs (Joan) said...

Okay Craig, it is time to be serious .... your "lion" will never forgive me if I do not recognise his tail ....... tell Darby I said hello. :)

Craig Glenn said...

Sandi: Thanks for you awesome guess! Please come back tomorrow.

Jalynn: Thanks for stopping by, yes it does go by fast.

Tina: Thanks Yes you could, it's not that hard. LOL Stop by tomorrow.

Tom: Thanks and your comments along with you know whos makes it all worth while. And you are absolutly correct! Yeti is the right answer!!

Joan: LOL, what is this Darby you speak of!

I'm gonna guess it is the tail of a bull...since you were in grave danger getting the picture ;-)
Congratulations on 100 posts, Craig!

SAPhotographs (Joan) said...

Oh no you dont!!You are not going to swop pics on me Craig!! I can just see it comming!! This poor little SA woman does not have a chance when you and Tom get together.
The BS team does not know anything about science. Grrrr!!

Tom, I expected more from you that this. After all YOU are the team member with the brains and should know Yeti is white not golden brown.

LOL!! LOL!!
