Hope the birds don't eat your Green Jumping Spider. Yesterday I saw an Eastern Kingbird Flycatcher in my lilies. Puzzled me at first, then I realized he was probably after the butterflies that are usually in that area. That was NOT a happy thought.
The color of the spider's leg matches the color of the center of the sunflower (what do you call that part again?). And its green color is very cool to look at. Nice find on a sunflower :)
While I've been busy with summer and life you have posted a whole pack of lovely sunflowers!! And I looked up that spider cause it just sounds like a made up name... 'green jumping spider' What a lovely little character to enhance the bright yellow of that flower. Loved all your sunflowers even the ones with the 'stringy' looking petals.
