Mystery Critter Wednesday Round 13

Mystery Critter

I am sure I made this much too simple, but in the spirit of resurrecting my Mystery Critter series, here we go.

The poster with the most accurate and detailed identification of this critter will be the winner!

Have fun and thanks for stopping by,

Craig Glenn

This is MUCH too simple Craig. Did you for one minute think I would not recognise the long eyelashes of the ladies who do can-can on stage? I mean really!!

LOL!!

This is not just any old elephant. This is Rosy. She is an Asian elephant born in the wild in 1970. She became an orphan when her mother died of natural causes in 1971. In 1972, Rosy moved to Busch Gardens in Tampa where she has lived a wonderful life.
Rosy never married as Tampa only houses female elephants. Her dream is to move to Wild Kingdom and meet the right Bull and have a family.

Can anyone tell me where this elephant is from?

DING DING DING! I think we have a WINNER! See what a little research can do! Mama always said Scooter should win (or was it let your little brother win), but I never knew how smart he was.

Good Job Scooter, now don't forget to tell mama you won, (Craig let you win again)!

Great job being first KAHolly, but Scooter got you on the details.

Bug Lady... ??? what kind of guess was that?

I will post her full photo tomorrow!

Awe, Joan, you are so sweet. Thanks. You really should get out more. There is so much to see out there in the world. Being in Florida, we are so lucky, why just the other day, I opened my blinds and to my great surprise there was a giant elephant standing in the backyard. I almost didn't see him because he was hiding behind a tree, but sure enough there he was.

Now Scooter, don't go tellin' stories... you know that was just cousin LuLu at the family picnic. I am tellin' mama what you said...

Gee, and here I thought it was the other end of an elephant.

Terrific photo, Craig! I am delighted to have found your interesting blog (via your comment on Joan's blog). Of course, what you said there gave me the answer before I even stopped in :<).
