Mystery Critter Wednesday Round 17

Mystery Critter Wednesday

This weeks Mystery Critter is once again not native to Florida so keep that in mind. This weeks prize is a free "Follow my Blog" membership for 2011! Have fun Mystery Critter Slayers!

Note: Since I have so many Social Media outlets, it's too difficult to keep track of everyone's answers from other mediums. Therefore, only answers left on the blog are considered in determining the winner of MCW. Prizes are taxable for their actual value, but don't worry they are not really worth anything!

Thanks for playing!

Oh Joan, you were so close, but I really want that free membership to "follow me blog"

I have never gotten anything free.

The bongo belongs to the genus Tragelaphus, which includes the sitatunga (Tragelaphus spekeii), the nyala (Tragelaphus angasii), the bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus), the mountain nyala (Tragelaphus buxtoni), the Lesser Kudu (Tragelaphus imberbis) and the greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros)

No Scot, sorry but this week is MINE!! LOL!! These are found in my own back yard and I know one when I see one. As a matter of fact, this is the Greater Kudu, I will give you credit on your research though, but I want this fee membership and I am willing to fight you on this one.

Well Joan, how can I argue with creatures in your own backyard.

I have to blame Craig for this one. Why can't he have creatures in my backyard?

I think he rigged this one just so I could not win. But, if I know Craig, and I do know him, I wonder if he even knows what this mystery creature was? I bet he doesn't know if it is a Bongo or Kudu.

LOL!! I think he was tring to sneak pictures of me Scot and got the Kudu instead. How DO you manage to put up with a brother like that? :) Poor Maureen!!

And please, do not go running to Mama when you loose this one as her and I had a coversation about the two of you and she is not about to help you out of this one.

Good question Scot? Do you think he knows the answer? Just thinking about it, I wonder if he EVER knows the answers. Maybe he just waits for one of us to give him the correct one. LOL!!

If it weren't for Joan, I'D have gotten this one right. After all she was my teacher on South African wildlife. Kudos to you Joan. Or should I say Kudus.

So where is the answer to this? I want the prize I won. :)

I told you he doesn't knnow his own mystery critter. He is just stalling, hoping we forget about the prize. He does not want to have to give everyone the free membership.
